Emerald scales

Let all rejoice for he has returned!!

Okay, perhaps a tad melodramatic for me simply updating my blog again. Those who have asked why it took so long already know that i've only just gotten back to shooting recently. This probably isn't the photo some were expecting but its the one that was easiest for me to post.

This was taken on a recent trek through the amazon with camera in one hand and machete in the other whilst fending off the many predators closing in on me (cue dramatic music). Yes, thats my story and i'm sticking to it! Hope you enjoy the image and choose to post your comments heaping praise on my bravery and talent;)

My dearest Baron Münchhausen,

Finally, some news from thee! News I have been waiting and looking forward to reading for so long and with such great anticipation. I must say I am quite amused to read all about thine latest adventures. But dear, dear, I think thine jumping off the planes to parachute during thine flights to and from Japan as well as the tough marches through the jungles must have left some kind of mark in the form of great confusion in thine mind. Please, forgive me, my dear Baron, for such an impudent remark of mine. I do not want to doubt thine presence in the Amazonian rainforest and thine walk on the wild side of this planet ... but after careful consideration and consulting our dear friend Reni Nett, thine pilote, GPS and thine geographic memory must have played a very unpleasant trick on thee during one of thine parachute descents when it comes to the earthen shapes that spread below thee. A very recent expedition of my own had led me in the exact same region where thou must have captured that emerald beauty ... thou are surely familiar with my curiousity leading to some investigations of my own in the last few hours ... My dear Baron, thou were seen travelling in these parts of SE-Asia not too long ago ... Honestly, I am quite astonished that thou did not recognise thine environment correctly, but maybe that ought to be blamed on the strange goggles thou must have worn during thine passage ... at least that was the most remarkable thing everyone I interrogated remembered of thee ...

Last, but not least, I wish to let thee know that I adore thine shot of the green tree pit viper, a beautiful sight I was denied during my own expedition.

I am looking forward to hearing from thee again some time soon.

Until then, yours truly

Duchess Franca of Germanika

ES INCREIBLE TU HABILIDAD PARA TOMAR IMAGENES TAN ESPECIALES Y QUE SON UN PALADAR PARA LOS OJOS DE QUIENES TENEMOS OPORTUNIDAD DE VER LO QUE TU TOMAS EN VIVO, CADA VEZ QUE VEO UNA NUEVA FOTO ME IMAGINO EL MOMENTO EN QUE LA CAPTURASTE Y TODO EL SENTIMIENTO QUE EN ESE MOMENTO PASASTE.¡ERES GRANDIOSO!
