Gossamer wings
Here is the one dragonfly shot i've got thats worth posting. It was taken sometime last year but i was a bit too sloppy with the processing and wasn't satisfied so it stayed in my archives until today...

Wow!!! - Yeah that says it all, so I post my comment straight away today instead of taking my usual way of communication. ;) I can only say that I really, really like that shot (even though I do not like insects much), especially the colours and the details of the wings.
Good luck for capturing more of these beasts!
OOH I LOVE Dragon flies! I wrote a story about them once. I took some time to do some research on them.

the most interseting thing here is the delicate balance on whatever this creepy crawly is perched on....
Stan, zoom in on its legs connecting with the stump and use that as another picture...
